Job Summary:
Non CDL Delivery Drivers are responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. The work schedule is 4, 10 hour days.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Complete required vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance issues
- Drive assigned routes and deliver product in a safe, timely, and professional manner
- Load, transport, and unload product using proper equipment and handling techniques
- Deliver and unload product at customer locations, including navigating stairs, tight spaces, and varying environments
- Verify order accuracy, obtain signatures, and complete required delivery documentation
- Collect payments and secure invoices, cash, and checks as required
- Stock, rotate product, and assist with merchandising at customer locations
- Pick up and return empty kegs and damaged product as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, and supervisors
- Adhere to all safety standards, alcohol delivery laws, and company policies
- Perform all duties in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner in accordance with productivity standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- Delivery driver experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
- Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
- Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.
- Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
