Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Night Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks during overnight shifts, ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of materials across construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with construction site procedures will be vital to maintaining smooth operations and supporting project timelines. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dozers during night shifts to transport materials across construction sites.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to determine loading and unloading schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials like gravel, dirt, asphalt, or other construction aggregates.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction site equipment including horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, paving machinery, and other specialized tools as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials transported, vehicle maintenance records, and shift reports for accountability and safety tracking.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, road safety regulations, and construction site procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities during night operations while adhering to company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a commercial or construction environment.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machinery.
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction processes including paving, grading, tanker operations, and water truck management is highly desirable.

Pay: $230.00 – $320.00 per day
