Position Overview:As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing key client relationships at a national level. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. This is a dynamic position that requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to account management.
What you’ll do here:
Set and monitor sales targets for regional account managers
Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success
Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met
Identify and attract prospective strategic customers
Ensure brand consistency
Collect and analyze sales data and trends
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards
Liaise with Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products
Stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics
Utilize market insights to inform strategic decision-making and adapt sales strategies accordingly
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
Proven work experience as a national account manager
Solid experience in sales and customer service
Experience in negotiating and meeting client’s requirements
In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to lead and motivate team members
Team player with superior collaboration abilities
