We are seeking a skilled and friendly Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to create beautiful nail designs and promote a relaxing salon experience. A strong focus on sanitation, communication, and retail sales is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Provide personalized consultations to clients to recommend suitable nail treatments and designs
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Offer body waxing services as part of the service menu (nice-to-have skill)
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and building client relationships
- Communicate effectively with clients about their preferences and aftercare instructions
- Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Valid state license or certification as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialty credentials
- Proven experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and maintaining a sterile work environment
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to perform body waxing (preferred but not required)
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Basic retail sales skills to promote salon products effectively
