Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to various locations. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
Duties:
– Report to the office/warehouse on time to set up and load your route for the day.
– Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers, following a pre set schedule, using our delivery app and Google maps on a company provided cell phone
– Be aware of timing and advise office and customer if running late
– Load and unload delivery vehicles – you will be driving our company vans
– Communicate with customers and team members in a professional manner – fluent in English
– Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, advise supervisor accordingly
– Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
– Other tasks as assigned by managment team
Qualifications:
– Valid full G driver’s license with a clean driving record – abstract to be provided before joining the team
– Prior experience in delivery roles is a bonus
– Proficient in customer service
– Capable of repetitive heavy lifting and moving packages – up to approximately 50 lbs
– Familiarity with warehouse operations, CSA certified safety shoes must be worn
