As a part-time MSK Physiotherapist, you will work 20 hours weekly in a busy outpatient clinic, focusing on patients with musculoskeletal injuries. We’re looking for candidates with experience in diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based practices. This role allows for a potential transition to full-time employment based on your personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed patient assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose and address acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues
• Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques including therapeutic exercises
• Track patient progress and modify treatment as required
• Inform patients about self-care and recovery techniques
Requirements:
• Proven experience in outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient engagement
• Comfort working independently or with a team
• Proficient in managing pain-related conditions
• Must be registered with the Alberta College of Physiotherapy
