Position: Mobile Technician for BC Hydro Sites
Support BC Hydro’s operational integrity as a Mobile Technician, responsible for maintenance and inspections at various locations. Enhance customer service experience at Black & McDonald sites with your technical expertise.
As the Mobile Facilities Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and functionality of multiple sites from Nakusp to Invermere. Your duties include performing inspections, coordinating maintenance tasks, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and management. Leveraging your 3-5 years of relevant experience will allow you to significantly contribute to the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct timely building inspections and initiate corrective actions
• Coordinate planned and emergency maintenance work
• Manage supplier contracts and supervise their work
• Ensure service reports are completed accurately
• Maintain relationships with vendors and customers
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in service or facilities management
• 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certification preferred
• Clean Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Basic computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
