Responsibilities
- Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and power tools
- Conduct fire damage cleanup by removing debris, soot, and smoke residues while adhering to safety protocols
- Execute mold remediation procedures to identify, contain, and eliminate mold growth effectively
- Assist with asbestos abatement projects following strict safety guidelines and industry standards
- Utilize hand tools and construction techniques for demolition, repair, and rebuilding efforts as needed
- Clean and restore carpets, upholstery, and other affected surfaces to return spaces to pre-loss condition
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety procedures followed
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with the restoration industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for water, fire, mold, and asbestos-related damages
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of construction practices related to restoration projects
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance at all times
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a must
- Must be able to pass a background report
