Draftsman / Cabinet Designer (Microvellum Required)
Granger Cabinetry & Millwork Ltd. is seeking an experienced Draftsman / Cabinet Designer to join our growing team.
We are a custom architectural millwork and cabinetry shop serving commercial and residential projects throughout the Lower Mainland. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical drafting skills and hands-on experience using Microvellum.
IMPORTANT: Applicants without Microvellum experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for custom millwork and cabinetry projects
- Create production-ready drawings, cut lists, and CNC-ready information
- Coordinate with project managers, shop staff, and installers
- Review architectural drawings and specifications
- Assist with project planning and material requirements
- Revise drawings based on site conditions and client feedback
- Maintain drawing standards and project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of drafting experience in the cabinet or millwork industry
- Proven Microvellum experience (required)
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Ability to interpret architectural and design drawings
- Knowledge of cabinet construction methods, hardware, and manufacturing processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
