Northeast Lantern exists to provide high quality solid brass and copper lighting fixtures through our highly skilled and dedicated employees, excellent customer service and proficient manufacturing process. Handcrafted with solid brass or copper metal, each fixture features a hand-applied living finish made to order. Our lifetime guarantee and unique ability to customize any of our fixtures ensure confidence and satisfaction amongst our customers. Northeast Lantern continually innovates and improves our American made lighting fixtures to maintain a competitive edge in the industry and keep up with market demands.

Metal Fabricators, Assemblers and Solderers
Experience with metalwork is great; however, we also provide comprehensive on-the-job training! Our talented craftspeople are responsible for construction of all lantern parts through various processes, including use of torch, iron, solder, and flux; use of a variety of equipment including a power shear, power and hand notchers, bar folders and slip rollers, hand and foot punches, rotary bending machine, sander, band saw, and basic household hand tools.
Employees can expect to be cross-trained to provide aid other departments as deemed necessary; all employees are expected to maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.

Northeast Lantern was established in 1987. Skip Heal was a young artisan and had a vision of opening his own shop to produce quality solid brass and copper lighting fixtures. Currently, Northeast Lantern has over 30 skilled employees. Each of them brings their own unique talent when it comes to building a fixture. Skip has passed his commitment to product quality and his commitment to customer service to his son, Chris. Together, they strive to better the business for both the customer and the employees.
We pay competitive wages and provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes production bonuses, group health insurance, flexible schedule, paid holidays, accrued vacation and sick time, company paid life insurance, retirement plan with company match, and an Employee Assistance Program. Probation and eligibility periods apply.
Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, and wages start at $18.00 per hour.
