Lead Merchandiser – You will be managing day-to-day projects from start to finish along with promoting sales opportunities. This role includes coordinating crew member schedules and organizing client goals and standards through smooth planning and budgeting. Our Lead Merchandiser is tasked with ensuring all crew members are being supported and developed and that customers are being taken care of.
Hours: 6am to 2pm, Weekend availability required (Schedule will be discussed upon interview)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively partner with store personnel for the scheduling and communication of reset
- Daily communication (meetings, emails, calls, etc.) with customer and crew members is vital for day-to-day operation.
- Report and discuss observations and issues with immediate Supervisor.
- Must have deep understanding of customer’s and employer’s company policies and procedures and ensure team member’s adherence to standards.
- Quality control inspections – rotate product
- Help create, organize and maintain promotional displays.
- Create and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with procedures.
- Monitor daily tasks and change course as needed for timely project completion.
- May be required to perform additional duties as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis – bend, stretch, stoop, twist as needed
- Ability to stand for 8 plus hours
- May be required to travel to other store locations
- Retail supervisory experience – 1 year experience
- Retail merchandising experience – 2 years’ experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) – speak, read and write preferred
- Produce experience, preferred
- Excellent time management and attention to detail skills
- Strong communication and interpretation skills
- Committed to providing excellent customer service]
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be self-sufficient / self-starter
