Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandising Allocator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for allocating merchandise to retail stores and counters to ensure optimal stock levels, support sales performance, and reduce overstock or stock-outs. You’ll work closely with the merchandising, planning, and retail operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate merchandise to retail stores and counters based on sales trends, inventory levels, and business needs.
  • Monitor stock levels and product performance to ensure optimal inventory distribution across locations.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment and delivery of inventory.
  • Generate, maintain, and analyze allocation, sales, and inventory reports on a regular basis.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and inventory risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support inventory management processes and maintain accurate data within ERP or inventory systems.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and retail operations teams to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Assist in improving allocation strategies and operational efficiency through data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve inventory and allocation-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Retail Management, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1 years of experience in merchandising, allocation, inventory management, retail operations, or a related role.
  • Previous experience in the beauty, fashion, or retail industry is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting).
  • Experience with ERP, inventory management, or retail planning systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Python is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
