We are searching an energetic Medical Equipment Technician to join our team full time to support Scioto County. Work for a company where you are not just a number but a valuable part of our team. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the delivery of medical equipment and supplies to patients, warehouse inventory levels and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver equipment and supplies to patients in their homes or to facilities via company vehicle
- Maintain inventory levels by submitting order requests
- Receive orders
- Pick up used equipment, clean, sterilize and return to inventory
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and equipment storage rooms
- Calibrate and maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on medical equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Utilize hand tools and specialized testing equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
Functional Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in a manner understood by most persons.
Special Requirements:
- Must have current car insurance and driver’s license.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
Experience:
– Previous experience in a home medical equipment setting or related field is preferred
– Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) regulations and standards

Salary: $14.00 per hour + depending on experience
