Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering, setting up, and maintaining medical equipment for patients in need. This role requires attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
– Deliver and set up medical equipment at patient residences or healthcare facilities
– Provide instructions on the proper use and maintenance of equipment to patients and caregivers
– Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment as needed
– Ensure all equipment is sanitized and in proper working condition before delivery
– Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
– Document all services provided and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification is a plus
– Previous experience in a similar role preferred
– Knowledge of medical equipment such as oxygen tanks, wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.
– Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care
– Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as needed
-Must be able to pass drug test
Skills:
– Proficiency in delivery driving, loading/unloading equipment, route driving, and trailer operations
– Strong background in customer service and moving logistics
