Very unique opportunity for a new graduate or retired individual with a background in healthcare. Extremity Health is providing off the shelf and custom bracing for extremities (shoulders down to finger tips and knees down to toes). We are looking for an individual that can assist customers with their medical needs and guide them to the appropriate medical supports.
Job Title: Medical Coach/Medical Administrator/Medical Lead
Work Site: Extremity Health – Hillside Mall, Victoria, BC
Status: Full-Time/Part-Time
Start Date: July 2024
Salary: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, with room for growth
Days and hours of work may vary, willing to work with candidate.
Position Description:
Assess incoming customers and provide suggestions for extremity supports/bracing.
Understand customers medical needs and provide guidance on support.
Understand physician prescriptions
Ability to manage extended healthcare benefit submissions
Basic computer skills
Must be comfortable with hands-on patient interaction.
Ensure the professional appearance of the clinic.
Job Requirements:
Knowledgable about musculoskeletal
Background in physiology
Professional, organized, detail oriented and quality focused
Must be able to multi-task efficiently
Customer Service experience
Must be computer proficient
Motivated and enthusiastic to learn
Good time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines;
Ability to multi-task, assess situations and prioritize tasks accordingly;
Good listening skills along with the ability to accept and follow direction.
