Medical Assistant Full Time Jobs in Herndon, VA at Nova Foot and Ankle
Responsibilities:
- The primary objective of the Medical Assistant is to assist the physician with all aspects of patient-care, as well as represent the office in a professional and courteous manner.
- This will be great position for someone looking to start their career in the medical field. We have had 5 assistants go onto medical school and several others into nursing, PA and other medical fields. Great way to learn and understand the health field as training will be provided.
- Flexible hours and days available to get hands on training at your convenience.
- Be able to multi-task and grasp information quickly.
- Must have own car.
- Able to work both Springfield VA and/or Herndon VA office locations.
- Take patients to and from treatment rooms, ask medical information and perform vitals.
- Clean rooms after each treatment: disinfect counter tops, disinfect / sterilize used instruments, vacuum floor, etc.
- Performs inventory checks for supplies and restock patient rooms as needed
- Assist healthcare providers in patient care, including taking vital signs, measuring and recording patient information, and preparing patients for examinations
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records
- Assist with minor medical procedures and treatments
- Maintain a clean and organized medical environment

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
