Do you have professional, hands-on experience in some of the following domains.
Metrology, 3D modelling (CAD), ASME drafting standard, GD&T, Quality control, Conventional and CNC machining, Sheet metal design and manufacturing, Materials science, Pneumatic and mechatronic systems.
Then we invite you to submit your application to the Mechanical Engineering Candidate Pool.
Applying to the Candidate Pool will keep your application on file for six (6) months. We may pre-screen candidates for temporary employment opportunities that arise.
Job description and tasks
In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, the role also includes:
Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College
Participation in departmental meetings
Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.
Performing other department related administrative duties
Required Qualifications
College diploma (DEC) in related field or equivalent, with minimum five (5) years of relevant industrial experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a related field or equivalent, with minimum three (3) years of relevant industrial experience
Demonstrated applied or hands-on experience in a related field an asset
Teaching experience at the College level an asset
Excellent English communication skills essential
General knowledge of French is an asset.
