Salary:$33-$45/hourbase salary. OT paid out after 40 hours at 1.5 x hourly rate. Sundays or stats paid at 2 x hourly rate. 3% Employer Matching RRSP
Position Summary:As a Mechanical Designer, you will be pivotal in developing automation processes and creating design packages for custom automation systems. This role combines technical expertise with practical application, focusing on delivering high-quality, functional machinery within set timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Engineering:
Unleash your creativity in mechanical design, using SolidWorks to craft innovative solutions for automation systems

Collaboration and Communication:
Engage in discussions with suppliers and team members, bringing your ideas to life

Requirements
About You:
Education & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience and interest in mechanical design of custom automation machines including robotics
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks and other engineering design tools
Excellent understanding of mechanical components and their applications
Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate effectively with suppliers and customers
A commitment to continuous improvement and quality standards
