This role is key to keeping our fleet of vehicles and greenhouse equipment running effectively, ensuring seamless operations during both routine and peak seasons. Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair highway trucks, trailers, and reefers (brakes, hydraulics, lights & diesel systems)
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on greenhouse equipment (tractors, skid steers, forklift, ATVs, implements).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate service records.
- Support seasonal operations with proactive maintenance planning.
Qualifications
- Mechanical experience (fleet, heavy‑duty, or agricultural equipment is an asset).
- Trade certification (e.g. Red Seal, Journeyman) preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate.
- A positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
