Minimum 10 years demonstratable experience leading a Materials or Production Control team or related teams to success across operational settings, preferably in an injection molding manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a materials or supply chain related function in the automotive industry. University or college degree, preferably in a manufacturing, supply chain, or business-related field. Equivalent years of experience would be considered as alternate.
Working knowledge of materials management and MRP best practices Experience in materials and inventory planning, processes of planning/scheduling, metrics, ERP outputs and managing projects, capacity planning and management, and
inventory management
. Sales and Inventory Operational Planning experience is essential. Strong financial understanding in a manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation skills exceptional MS Office working knowledge, primarily excel.
Ability to
develop effective forms, procedures, process flows, spreadsheets, analytical reports and metrics. Lean manufacturing working knowledge of principles and tools.
Able to
utilize lean concepts to improve material flow, reduce waste and optimize processes. Strong oral and written
communication skills
Strong proven
hands-on
leadership
skills, ability to mentor, coach, and motivate staff and all team members.
Job Type: Permanent Salary: $28.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
