Completes a variety of tasks within a department (may be Press Shop, Assembly Lines, Paint Line or Shipping)
Picking orders manually, by maintaining quantity accuracy
Must be able to complete orders in a fast-paced physical environment
Performs the carpentry duties necessary including making shipping wooden crates to secure cargo for travel.
Operate sit down counter balance forklift
Wraps/crates completed orders, loads/unloads trucks
Focuses on learning tasks and ensuring quality
Updates shipping information in JDE/ Hubble when required
Agree to work in an environment where health and safety are essential and a priority;
Contributes to the overall functioning of the team by maintaining awareness of best practices/emerging issues, both internally and externally, sharing best practices and building effective working relationships across the team and company.
Open to work extra hours and other shift depending upon the business need
Performs other duties as necessary.
Requirements
Must possess excellent communication skills
Extremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Education and Experience Requirements
Typically, up to 1 year order picker and Shipping experience
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Can perform approx. 25% of all jobs within the Plant
Continuing to learn and gain understanding of the operation
Quality Record – is good, may experience lower quality when first learning the task
