Material Handler Jobs in Canada at BearClaw Equipment
This is a permanent full-time position making up 43 hours per week minimum.
Production hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 12:00pm
Job duties and responsibilities will
include:
Receiving steel orders – unloading tucks and putting steel away in the appropriate areas using a forklift
Operate bandsaw and drill press
Ability to read blue prints to cut steel to length and use drill press to drawing specifications
Operate and maintain shop equipment and tools
Inspect steel surfaces for quality control
Clean up after cutting jobs
Pride in finished work
Operate a forklift/or loader
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Make jigs and small parts as needed (MIG welding)
Help around the shop as needed
Ability to follow health and safety procedures
Ability to wear all applicable PPE
Experience an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
