Join our Production team as a Material and Logistics Manager, where you’ll implement effective inventory management practices and optimize material flow for production. Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production.
In this key management role, you’ll oversee all inbound materials to prevent production disruptions and stock-outs. Collaborating closely with production staff, you’ll ensure materials are correctly placed and available. Benefits include developing performance metrics for logistics and utilizing an ERP system to preemptively address issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inbound materials to prevent production interruptions
• Work with production staff to ensure proper material placement
• Implement cycle counting to ensure accurate inventory levels
• Collaborate with purchasing to manage orders and supplies
• Develop performance metrics for logistics and inventory
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Accounting, or Supply Chain
• Experience with SAP considered an asset
• Knowledge in manufacturing, logistics, or inventory control
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and effective time management
