Burnett Dairy Cooperative is hiring a Master Operator to support production across multiple departments in our dairy facility. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that helps keep operations running smoothly wherever support is needed.
Shift & Pay:
1st Shift – Rotating schedule, must be flexible
Hours vary based on production needs
$23.00/hour
What You’ll Do:
Train and work across all production and packaging departments
Fill in for extended employee absences and open positions during recruitment
Support daily production needs wherever coverage is required
Operate and monitor equipment across multiple areas
Assist with maintaining product quality and production flow
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Complete general housekeeping and cleaning duties
Work Environment:
Fast-paced production setting
Varies between departments depending on assignment
Combination of team-based and independent work
Continuous movement throughout the shift
What We’re Looking For:
Strong work ethic and reliability
High level of flexibility and adaptability
Ability to work across different shifts, days, and departments as needed
Good written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of machine operations and production processes
Physical Requirements:
Continuous standing and walking
Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting
Frequent use of hands for handling and fine motor tasks
Regular lifting of 20–30 lbs, occasionally up to 60+ lbs
Ability to work in varying production environments
