Love social media, the outdoors, and variety in your workday? Spend your summer running the marketing for a year-round RV resort and campground in Stettler — creating content, growing our channels, and learning every side of a real hospitality business.
PLEASE READ FIRST — ELIGIBILITY: This is a student position funded through a federal student work placement program. To qualify you must be BOTH (1) currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution and returning to studies, AND (2) a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person. Applications that don’t meet both requirements can’t be considered.
ABOUT US
Prairie Junction RV Resort & Campground is central Alberta’s only year-round RV resort, operating since 2013 in the town of Stettler. We offer full-service RV sites, cabins, RV rentals, a wedding & event centre, and outdoor gear rentals. We’re woman-owned, pet-friendly, and proud to be part of the Stettler community.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Plan, create, and schedule photo and short-video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Respond to comments, DMs, and guest reviews across Google, Facebook, and booking sites
- Build and send email campaigns to past guests
- Set up and monitor paid social ads (Meta Ads Manager)
- Post weekly to our Google Business Profile
- Reach out to influencers and content creators, and to local businesses and event planners
- Call guests with upcoming bookings to offer rental add-ons and upgrades
- Help at the front desk on office days, greet guests at check-in/out and answer questions
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Currently enrolled post-secondary student (marketing, business, communications, hospitality, or any program)
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person
- Confident writer, comfortable on the phone and in person
- Active on Instagram/Facebook/TikTok; Canva, CapCut, or Meta Business Suite an asset
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to draft content and work faster
- Organized and self-directed when working from home
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to our Stettler office twice a week
WHAT WE OFFER
- $18–$20/hour, 30–35 hours/week
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days/week at our Stettler office, the rest from home
