Marketing Specialist, Targeted Campaigns (24-Month Contract)
My client, a leading North American financial institution and one of Canada’s Big 5 banks, is looking for a delivery-focused Marketing Specialist to join their Personal Lending team. This is a 24-month mandate focused on the flawless execution of targeted marketing campaigns.
Based in Downtown Toronto, you will be the primary point of coordination for marketing initiatives that drive the bank’s lending portfolio. This is an ideal role for an organized marketer who enjoys the "how" of a campaign—managing timelines, navigating approvals, and ensuring accurate delivery.
The Work
You will own the day-to-day requirements to get campaigns out the door. You aren’t just monitoring a process; you are driving it. Your responsibilities include:
- Campaign Delivery: Managing the end-to-end execution of targeted CRM, email, and direct mail programs.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as the central hub between product, design, legal, and compliance teams to shepherd creative through the approval process.
- Accuracy & Quality Control: Reviewing all marketing assets for completeness and adherence to brand guidelines to ensure launch readiness.
- Data & Segmentation: Working with internal partners to ensure targeting and data requirements are correctly translated into final campaign files.
- Project Tracking: Maintaining work plans, tracking dependencies, and proactively following up with partners to prevent bottlenecks.
The Profile
We are looking for someone with 2–3 years of experience who understands the pace and precision required in a banking environment.
- Banking/Finance Background: You have experience working within a large, regulated corporate structure and understand the rigors of multi-stage approval workflows.
- Execution Focus: You have a track record of delivering CRM or digital marketing programs on time and without errors.
- Communication: You are confident in managing expectations across different business groups and seniority levels.
- Technical Tools: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for tracking performance and reporting results to senior leadership.

- Term: 24-month contract (High stability).
- Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days in office).
- Target Start: June 1st.
- Pay: 25/hr-35/hr commensurate with experience
