RoofIgnite is a fast-growing performance marketing agency helping roofing companies generate qualified appointments through high-converting Meta ads and automated follow-up systems built in GoHighLevel.

We're hiring a client-facing Marketing Manager to own 20-30 roofing client accounts at full capacity, monitor campaign performance, conduct strategy calls, manage team execution, and scale client relationships.

This is a revenue-aligned role where your compensation is directly tied to client retention and growth.

Who You Are:

You're a client-facing performance operator — not a strategist, not a media buyer at an agency managing one brand. You manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and own the full client relationship lifecycle from onboarding through retention and upsell.

You're someone who can:

  • Own client relationships with confident, direct communication
  • Diagnose performance issues through systematic thinking (not gut feel)
  • Direct team execution and hold people accountable
  • Proactively identify and solve problems before clients escalate
  • Operate in a fast-scaling startup where systems are still being built — and contribute to building them
  • Work autonomously without needing constant direction
  • Balance structure with scrappiness — follow SOPs when they exist, improvise when they don't
  • Be available to address client concerns on Saturdays, when needed

What You Are Responsible For:

Account Management & Client Communication

  • Own 20-30 roofing client accounts at full capacity ($4,000+ monthly retainer each)
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly performance review calls with clients
  • Proactively communicate wins, surface issues early, and manage expectations
  • Handle difficult conversations with confidence (results miss, technical issues, pricing questions)
  • Onboard new clients with speed and clarity — launch campaigns within 7 days
  • Upsell clients on higher ad spend when performance allows

Performance Operations

  • Review account performance twice weekly (Monday and Thursday prepare data, Tuesday and Friday discuss)
  • Analyze Meta ad metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, ROAS, frequency, ad fatigue)
  • Think systematically through underperformance — isolate issues down the funnel before escalating
  • Flag accounts at risk and develop retention strategies
  • Recommend and direct action steps to your media buyer and creative team based on data
  • Ensure campaign launches stay on track and clients get results within expected timelines

Team Coordination

  • Work alongside one dedicated media buyer per pod (two CSMs per pod)
  • Direct your media buyer on creative changes, audience adjustments, and campaign optimizations
  • Escalate to leadership when needed, but handle 95% of issues at the CSM level
  • Maintain clear, documented communication (SOPs, Slack, Loom videos for complex issues)

Must Have Qualifications:

2+ years hands-on Facebook/Meta Ads experience

  • You've managed campaigns end-to-end — not just "boosted posts" or supported a buyer.
  • You understand audience targeting, creative decisions, funnel structure, and ROAS thinking.

GoHighLevel (GHL) hands-on experience

  • You've built workflows, sub-accounts, landing pages, or automations in GHL.
  • You understand the ecosystem and can work inside it confidently.

Multi-account agency experience

  • You've managed multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • You understand the operational rhythm of managing a book of business.
  • You've onboarded and offboarded clients.

Strong client-facing communication

  • You can explain complex marketing concepts to non-technical roofing business owners.
  • You're comfortable with direct, honest conversations.
  • You handle objections and tough news without getting defensive or making excuses.

Fluent English — written and verbal

  • You communicate clearly with clients over calls, email, and Slack.
  • Your voice recordings (required in application) are clear and professional.

Remote-ready and fully committed

  • You have a stable internet connection, quiet workspace, and professional setup.
  • You're not running another business or side project.
  • You're willing to work six days a week, with specific heavy days (Mon, Tues, Fri) and lighter days (Wed, Thurs, Sat).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience running your own small service business (shows ownership thinking)
  2. Exposure to done-for-you agency models (vs. consulting or in-house)
  3. Direct response marketing background (emails, funnels, conversion optimization)
  4. Experience managing team members or contractors
  5. Familiarity with roofing or home services industry
  6. Knowledge of appointment-setting or lead generation mechanics

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Base salary: $72,000 CAD
  • On-Track Earnings (OTE): $105,000–$134,000 CAD annually
  • 2% of collected client retainer revenue (paid monthly)
