Marketing Manager – Cardiac Rhythm Management

Introduction
We are hiring a Marketing Manager, Cardiac Rhythm Management, for one of our leading global healthcare clients, based in Mississauga, Ontario. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, our clients focusses on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats. The successful candidate will be required to follow a hybrid work structure of 4 days a week in office, and 1 day working from home.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with marketing colleagues on integrated marketing business plan (IMBP) deliverables for assigned programs.
- Understands the dynamics of the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) market (pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, Implantable Cardiac Monitor devices, remote monitoring).
- Maintain and update market data on a quarterly basis, develop and document market information, highlighting key trends and track market share.
- Develop and execute marketing programs and campaigns for the effective promotion of the CRM product lines. This includes product launch plans, product specific sales incentive plans when required as well as market share growth programs.
- Work pro-actively with CRM Procedure Specialists, sales force and customers by providing direct product and marketing expertise and coordinating key national programs for EP's (CCC, CHRS, Webinars etc)
- Encourage cross-divisional collaboration and teamwork to contribute to the achievement of CRM targets.
- Work pro-actively with corporate marketing and product divisions to develop and execute Canadian marketing strategy.
- Support the Clinical Studies team as needed on product registries, new technology assessments and product clinical trials as well as to ensure customer initiated clinical studies and initiatives are processed through the correct channels.
- On a monthly basis, review and prioritize product launch and registration plan with regulatory department.
- Assist in inventory planning and customer service to integrate new products and manage substitutions.
- Work with finance to submit quarterly sales forecasts
- Knowledge of market dynamics in terms of provincial health care funding and reimbursement in CRM.
- Analyze local market opportunities and threats including competitors' offerings
- Contributes towards the strategic plan and operating plan processes.
- Provides marketing leadership and sales management with market trends, competitive data, emerging technology and programs, and relevant market analysis to help define and achieving business goals.
- Establishes and recommends marketing goals and key deliverable that support revenue and market share growth.
- Works regularly with sales management to communicate and adapts marketing objectives, plans and programs (QPA – Quarterly plan of action) to evolving business requirements and to optimize sales generation and profitability.
- Assisting in RFP's (Request for Pricing), tender or similar, when needed.
- Works with marketing communications to support development of launch materials, product literature, and any other collateral material required to support sales and key marketing messages as well as Digital Marketing presence.
- Drives market development activities through establishment of best practices and development of tools to raise awareness of the benefits of assigned product(s)/product lines.
- Works with Regional Market Intelligence collect market information and update market models regularly with management.
- Builds strong relationships with leading KOL’s nationally and key accounts.
- Complies with regulations, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience.
- A strategic, data‑driven thinker who turns insights into action.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to tell clear, compelling stories.
- Proven experience in strategic product planning and commercial execution.
- Hands‑on experience with electrophysiology and/or CRM products.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Experience navigating a large, enterprise‑level, cross‑divisional organization (preferred).
- Comfort thriving in a highly matrixed, globally structured environment.
- Ability to excel both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, evolving setting.
- A natural collaborator who knows how to engage and mobilize stakeholders to get results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to all levels of the organization.
