Green Key Global is jointly owned and operated by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (US) and the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC), who have recently unified to deliver a singular solution for hotel sustainability certification in North America. The Green Key Global program is poised for significant growth as this partnership will accelerate its penetration into the US market and is therefore investing in resources to support the strategic and operational expansion of the program.

About the Role:Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will focus on the execution and project management of our North American marketing strategy, taking responsibility for the development of channels, content creation, and the execution of program and product marketing plans and enhancements. You’ll report on the analytics and will communicate internally to GKG’s decision-makers and board, and externally to our members.

As our ideal candidate, you’re a marketing pro with the ability to think big picture while flawlessly executing on the details. You’re digitally savvy with a deep appreciation of analytics. You’re creative, organized, efficient, and driven to meet deadlines. You’re an excellent writer and a pretty good project manager. And you’ve worked for a member-based or B2B organization. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of marketing plans and programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration

Plan, create and oversee the design, content, and production of all digital and print marketing materials and campaigns, with GKG’s specific objectives across different channels

Manage all online avenues of production, including website, social media pages, email campaigns, and response

Analyze member insights, market trends, analysis, and best practices to contribute to the Marketing Director’s successful strategy development

Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms to extract key insights for future campaign development and strategies, complete with proposals and recommendations on tactics

Support our business development team with up-to-date and aligned marketing materials

Essential Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in marketing or communications

A strategic and hands-on marketing professional with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in generalist roles

Experience developing and executing marketing and communications strategies, ideally for a member-based or B2B organization
