Role Description
BGC Greater Saint John is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator at our Main Club location at 1 Paul Harris Street. This role will be responsible for marketing all programs and services offered at BGC Greater Saint John through our social media and website. Reporting to the Executive Director, the new team member will play a vital role in providing potential and current donors with meaningful opportunities to make a positive change in the lives of over 2,100 young people annually.
What you will be doing
· Promote BGC Greater Saint John programs and services;
· Create marketing material for print and social media while adhering to brand guidelines;
· Manage overall and schedule posts to our social media accounts;
· Create grant recognition posts for social media & other while adhering to grant agreements;
· Produce the BGC e-newsletter on a monthly basis;
· Update and maintain the BGC website;
· Promote and grow awareness of our Annual Giving Campaigns (Club 100, Clubhouse, and our corporate campaign);
· Promote and grow the awareness of BGC Greater Saint John’s weekly 50/50 fundraising draw (Club Rush);
· Track data on donors and campaigns;
· Provide analytics with engagements across all platforms and website.

· Marketing Strategy: Contribute to the development & implementation of marketing strategies that increase BGC Brand visibility & engagement across all relevant platforms

- Ability to create authentic material using various media platforms (photography, videos etc.) while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Support the team with special events, programs and activities to help build and advertise as required.
What we want to see from you
· Must be a resident of Saint John, Queens & Kings County and work in-house at our main club;
· Post-secondary education in marketing or a related field. Will also consider equivalent and demonstrated skill and experience;
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing, including use of WordPress, Google Analytics. Working in a not-for-profit environment is considered an asset.
· Minimum 1 year experience using creative platforms such as Adobe, MS Office, Canva, Google Suites, Meta Business, etc.
· Displays an exceptional level of professionalism, knowledge, productivity, and high ethical standards;
· Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation in English is essential
· Excellent time management skills;
· Strong team player with proven collaboration skills;
· Demonstrate tact and an ability to handle sensitive and confidential information;
· Valid NB driver's license, have own vehicle with a clean driver's abstract;
· This permanent full-time salaried position requires the ability to work 40 hours per week, within a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, including travel and working occasional weekends and evenings.
