Marketing Assistant
About the Position:
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Director of Communications in helping Strongest Families extend our market reach. You will help bring your expertise in digital marketing to our team to help build our marketing plan both digitally and organically.
Strongest Families offers services across Canada, and so our marketing efforts require a national scope. You will help us learn more about the markets where we offer services; help us promote our services in these areas; strategize on digital marketing strategies (Google Ads, Social Marketing, Google Analytics, Funnels, Email Marketing, SEO, SEM) and have the opportunity to strategically plan marketing campaigns that are impactful taking the journey from creation to implementation.
This position is a remote work from home opportunity with the expectation to join us in our office as needed. All the equipment needed will be supplied as part of your employment.
Responsibilities:
Develop ads for our services that convert and show strong Return on Investments (ROI)
Create and advise on digital (online) advertising strategies (Google Ads, Meta)
Implement remarketing strategies to help increase our ROI (Google Tags etc)
Test and analyze different marketing strategies to measure campaign success and optimize performance to achieve increased user engagement and conversion rate.
Collaborate on helping to implement and SEO strategy that links our website with our marketing
Join our Social Media marketing team to help ensure our marketing efforts are aligned
Qualifications:
This position is a Summer Student position. Students must be returning to academic study in the Fall of 2024.
Applicants are encouraged to be enrolled in marketing or digital marketing studies. Experience within a marketing setting either as a volunteer or a paid position, would be an asset. Applicants should also be familiar with Microsoft products (office, word, excel, SharePoint) and have strong skills at working independently. Strong writing skills and attention to detail are important.
