Nch’ḵaỷ Development Corporation (NDC) was established in 2018 as the economic development arm of the Squamish Nation – Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw. Nch’ḵaỷ’s mandate is to develop, manage, and own the active businesses of the Nation and was created to allow for the separation of business and politics within the Squamish Nation.

Scope of the Position Reporting to the Director of Communications and Engagement and collaborating closely with the Real Estate & Development Department, the Marketing & Branding Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive marketing, branding, and

communication

strategies, with a focus on Nch’ḵaỷ’ s real estate projects and fostering strong engagement with the Squamish Nation Member community and the public.

This position requires a seasoned industry professional with a strong background in real estate marketing and branding who is adept at brand development and storytelling, as well as creating engaging content for various channels.

, Authority, and Account abilities a. Real Estate Project Marketing Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns for real estate projects, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and communications objectives.

Create engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases. b. Brand Management Work with external consultants and community knowledge-holders to lead the development and implementation of strong brand identity and messaging for each real estate development project, ensuring Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) cultural identity and connections to place are thoughtfully integrated into the brands.
