In this dynamic role, you’ll tackle daily market risk reporting and lead automation initiatives. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing existing processes and ensuring timely, accurate reporting. The team consists of six collaborative members focused on delivering industry-leading analytics and comprehensive risk measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce daily market risk reports during morning hours
• Execute ad-hoc and scheduled market risk processes
• Monitor key metrics:
VaR, stress testing, and daily P&L
• Upload and validate risk exposures in internal systems
• Automate manual workflows and support mini projects
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of automation experience using Python
• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Economics, or Math
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SQL and Excel (VBA preferred)
• Familiarity with market risk concepts and risk reporting
