The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Operations Manager to lead our Savannah operation. This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be the face of our company with FedEx, the backbone for our drivers, and the person who keeps everything compliant, moving, and growing. You’ll work directly with our General Manager, COO, and Co-CEOs.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary FedEx point of contact — building and maintaining a strong working relationship through regular face-to-face meetings and ongoing phone communication
- Dispatch drivers daily and manage scheduling to ensure all routes are covered efficiently
- Maintain full DOT and HOS compliance across the fleet at all times
- Hold equipment to FedEx standards — not just DOT minimums; proactively managing tractor maintenance to meet CSP requirements
- Be available when it counts — FedEx operates around the clock and so do we; you’ll have PM support, but this role requires someone who can be reached and respond when it matters
- Build driver culture — lead, develop, and retain a team that’s proud to represent Centurion/Spartan
- Own safety — implement and enforce safety protocols across the entire operation
- Think growth — you’re not just maintaining what we’ve built in Savannah, you’re helping us identify how to expand it

What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL — required
- Hands-on Class A CDL driving experience — required
- Doubles/Triples endorsement and experience — required
- Prior FedEx Ground/CSP operations experience — a strong plus, not required
- Solid working knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Must be local to Savannah or planning to relocate independently — this role requires a genuine, consistent presence in the market
