Overview
Affordable Manufactured Homes of Maine is seeking a dependable, hardworking Manufactured Home Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and taking pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Service Technician, you will work directly with homeowners to complete warranty and service repairs, ensuring their new home meets the highest standards of quality.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and complete punch-list items after home installations/inspections
- Perform warranty and service repairs on manufactured homes.
- Drywall and finish work
- Trim and carpentry finishwork
- Door and window adjustments
- Flooring Repairs
- Plumbing and electrical fixtures and repairs
- Roofing and siding touch-ups
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and staff
- Document completed work and materials used, completing work orders, maintenance logs, and service reports
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle.
- Travel to job sites throughout Maine as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, carpentry, maintenance, or home service work preferred.
- Knowledge of Manufactured Homes, basic plumbing and electrical
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
