Full job description
General Machine shop duties would include the setup, operation and maintenance of a manual vertical turret lathe/horizontal lathe. Looking for someone who has previous experiance running a Vertical Lathe/horizontal manual lathe. An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in machining, practical knowledge of machine tool technology, tooling and fixturing. The successful candidate will be able to work from written or oral instructions to set up, operate and maintain our machinery, and work both independently as well as with a team. Previous knowledge or experience in oilfield machining is a asset. Experience of b16 flanges and fittings is an asset.
General tasks include boring, tapering, facing , threading flanges and fittings to desired schedules.
Hours are 8:30 AM to 5-5:30 with a 1 hour lunch Monday to Friday
