Within JET, the Child Care Delivery Branch of the Child Care Strategy and Policy Division is responsible for the legislation and standards for the Early Learning and Child Care Act.

Reporting to the Director, Child Care Supports and Grant Administration, and as a member of the Management team within the Child Care Delivery, the Manager, Procurement, Grants and Contracts, has four key functions relating tostrategic leadershipand planning, procurement, contract and gratn team management and supervision, considerable internal and external strategic stakeholder engagement, and leading strategic initiatives. The Manager will lead the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of a strategic procurement plan and ensure the administration of grants and contract align with policy expectations.

The Manager will support
the delivery of high-quality services to all divisional programs and projects across the Province.

This position will be responsible to address concerns relating to contracting and procurement.

1. Accountable for leading the development and evaluation of all procurement plans.

Accountable for developing procurement plans that incorporate regional trends, respond todiverse communityneeds and support service delivery and provincial procurement alignment and direction.

Accountable for gathering/reporting on program results and key performance outcomes, through the procurement and granting (operational and capital grants) of targeted programs and services by developing, negotiating, and executing agreements with service providers.

Ensures procurement and grant initative plans are compliant and aligned with legislation, policies, and best practices.
