Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing real estate and hospitality team. This role is responsible for performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep across vacation rentals, hotels, residential properties, and commercial buildings.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, drywall repair, painting, and general handyman services. This position requires someone who can work independently, solve problems efficiently, and maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance, and carpentry issues.
- Complete painting, patching, and general handyman tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Preventative Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues.
- Maintain building systems, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and report major concerns.
Property & Hospitality Support
- Prepare rental units and hotel rooms for guest occupancy.
- Ensure guest-facing areas remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Assist with emergency repairs when needed.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work.
Exterior Maintenance
- Perform basic landscaping, debris removal, trimming, and general exterior upkeep.
- Maintain safe and attractive outdoor spaces.
Portfolio Support
- Travel between properties as required.
- Assist with renovations, upgrades, and special projects.
- Adapt maintenance standards based on property type, from luxury accommodations to conventional housing.
Pay: $18.99-$26.00 per hour
