We have an opening to join our Maintenance Team at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel!
Our Maintenance Technicians ensure an outstanding guest experience by providing as-needed repair service during the guest’s stay as well as ongoing preventative maintenance of our building and equipment. This position will also include driving the Hotel Associate Shuttle to assist with employee parking during peak business times.
General Duties of our Maintenance Technicians include tasks such as:
- Picking up and dropping off Associates at satellite parking location when necessary
- Conducting preventative maintenance of general areas and guestrooms
- Maintaining grounds area (trash removal, snow removal, plant care)
- Maintaining indoor swimming pool
- Responding to guest’s request for maintenance assistance.
- Responding to hotel department requests for maintenance assistance.
- Conducting daily rounds of building and parking lot area
- Special projects and duties to be assigned on as needed basis.
For the position of our Maintenance Technician, previous experience in electrical, plumbing and basic carpentry is preferred, and previous knowledge and experience in HVAC is helpful.
This Maintenance Technician opening is for Monday – Friday, however flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays is preferred for our ideal candidate.
