CHALLENGES WE OFFER
The Maintenance Technician at this facility will be following the plant maintenance program. Included are the repair, replacement, lubrication and inspection of parts and equipment in production and around the facility. Weekend work and overtime may be a requirement. The position is for a rotating position on days, afternoons, and midnight shifts.
Your duties and requires include:
Ensure safe, timely and satisfactory completion of all mechanical maintenance work;
Maintain and improve the facility preventive maintenance system;
Lead problem solving and analyze results of maintenance repairs to ensure plant objectives are met;
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations;
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE
Experience in a production/manufacturing environment;
Experience in the maintenance of pumps, motors, conveyor systems and do basic plumbing repairs;
Basic knowledge of electrical installations, circuits, and troubleshooting;
Basic understanding of troubleshooting Solenoid valves;
Ability to work from all types of blueprints, maintenance manuals, and drawings;
Ability to perform physical job and lifting up to 25KG with or without reasonable accommodation;
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE);
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) and confined spaces
