Overview
Northern Oaks is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The candidate we wish to hire will possess a strong background in maintenance management and be proficient in supervising a team of maintenance personnel. This role requires expertise in various technical areas, including HVAC systems, low voltage applications, and repairs to the facility, including beds and medical equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime while maintaining production efficiency.
- Fabricate necessary components or parts as required for repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
- Train team members on best practices for equipment operation, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, logic controllers, and HVAC technology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics related to mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
