Job Summary
Patriot Forge Co. supplies carbon, alloy and stainless steel forgings with heat treatment, machining and testing.
Through continual upgrades, Patriot Forge has been able to enhance our manufacturing capabilities to better serve the needs of our ever evolving customer base.
Due to recent expansion and growth we are currently recruiting for Maintenance Helper/General Labourer to join our team!
Job Type / Category
Remove garbage – plant wide
Recharg water softeners
Clean up around maintenance work areas throughout the plant
Clean out furnaces and press pit
Clean parts, tools and machinery
Perform basic fabrication and welding
Lift up to fifty pounds as required
Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointment by management
Work various shifts as required
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma preferred
Previous industrial experience preferred but not required
Good command of the English language both written and verbal
Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to work with little supervision
Material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) experience and asset
