Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance & Grounds Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and appearance of our facilities. This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, groundskeeping duties, and facility repairs to create a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, experience with facilities maintenance, and the ability to supervise and lead maintenance activities effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of a dynamic environment while developing your skills in maintenance, groundskeeping, and team leadership.
Both Full and Part -time positions available. Both seasonal & year around.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct groundskeeping tasks such as landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and outdoor cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Utilize tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, carpentry repairs, minor plumbing and electrical tasks and general upkeep of interior & exterior spaces.
- Assist with preventative maintenance schedules to ensure timely service and repairs.
- Work with maintenance team members or contractors during projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed to high standards.
- Monitor workplace facilities regularly for safety hazards or operational issues; document findings and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with Supervisory & Management to address specific maintenance or groundskeeping needs with excellent customer service skills.
- Assist with Septic Services as needed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including reading schematics and using testing tools like ohmmeters.
- Skilled in minor welding techniques for repairs or fabrication tasks.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques for interior and exterior surfaces.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Experience as a team member within manufacturing or facilities environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear instructions and documentation.
- Excellent time management skills and self starter.

- Must hold a valid Drivers License
- Must be able to pass basic Background Check.
Pay: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour
