Maintenance Aide Jobs in Brunswick, ME at Brunswick Housing Authority
The BHA has an opening for a Maintenance Aide. This is a responsible, entry level position, which shall report directly to the Supervisor of Maintenance. The position entails janitorial services such as vacuuming, general cleaning and trash removal. In addition to these duties, the position involves routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep of grounds and buildings. Upkeep of grounds includes mowing and snow removal in the winter. The successful applicant must possess a valid Maine driver’s license, work well in a team environment, have good communications skills, be able to handle stressful situations and carry out the responsibilities of the job in a professional manner. This position will require being on call on a rotational basis and the ability to lift, carry, and position objects up to 50lbs utilizing proper body mechanics and techniques. We offer a competitive hourly rate and an excellent fringe benefit package and a 4 day work week.
