Full job description
Maintenance Aide – 6 Month Contract
The maintenance aide will report to the Environmental Services Manager. You will be tasked with performing maintenance duties such as electrical, plumbing, building upkeep.
Responsibilities
Repair damaged walls, painting of resident rooms and common area space
Complete all routine fire and other preventative inspections on a scheduled basis and ensure appropriate record keeping.
complete all routine inspections of lighting and change bulbs as required
Repair residents’ equipment such as beds, chairs, lighting etc.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role
Ability to perform required physical duties which may include bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods of time, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying boxes, tools and equipment.
Fully vaccinated against COVID – 19
