We’re growing and looking for a skilled Mainline Operator to help install a 10” waterline on a large-scale project (~30,000 LF).
What You’ll Do
- Run excavator for waterline installation
- Cut and maintain trench to proper grade and alignment
- Fine-grade trench bottom for pipe bedding
- Set and place 10” waterline pipe with pipe crew
- Work closely with foreman, pipe layer, and grade checker
- Maintain steady production while keeping quality high
- Safely expose existing utilities
- Follow all trench safety and jobsite standards
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience running excavator on underground utilities (not just dirt work)
- Ability to hold grade using laser, GPS, or grade stakes
- Understanding of pipe installation (water/sewer)
- Operator who is smooth, accurate, and production-minded
- Strong teamwork and communication with ground crew
- Takes pride in doing clean, correct work the first time

Pay & Benefits
