Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Screening Program Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to organize and provide mail services for the Department to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the program. May also perform clerical and reception duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Must have

English 40S or equivalent Recent experience as a Mailroom Clerk Knowledge of office equipment and procedures

Experience with

word processing systems (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Work with a high level of confidentiality Must hold a satisfactory employment record

Must be

able to legally work in Canada Will be assessed during

the interview process

Excellent interpersonal and

communication skills

(oral and written) Detail oriented with exceptional organizational and

problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Asset:

Knowledge of Population Health and Screening Programs Experience communicating with the public and healthcare professionals

Experience with

electronic patient charts (CHIPS) Completion of a Medical Terminology course

Experience working

or volunteering in a health-care environment

Ability to

speak French
