Thomas Moore Feed is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our feed mill operations team as Machine Operators.
Thomas Moore Feed is a family-owned feed manufacturer with a long history of serving Texas agriculture, livestock owners, and retailers. We are continuing to grow and are looking for hardworking individuals who want more than “just a job” — people who are willing to learn, take pride in their work, and grow with our operation over time.
We are looking for mechanically inclined people who want to learn how a feed mill truly operates — including equipment, systems, troubleshooting, production flow, and overall plant operations.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various feed mill equipment and machinery
- Learn production systems, equipment functions, and mill processes
- Assist with troubleshooting and identifying mechanical or operational issues
- Perform routine cleaning and general upkeep of work areas and equipment
- Follow safety, quality control, and production procedures
- Work alongside plant leadership and experienced operators to continue developing skills
- Help maintain efficient production flow throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable working around machinery and industrial equipment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior manufacturing, feed mill, agricultural, welding, maintenance, or equipment experience is a plus — but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs regularly
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated platforms
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, dust, noise, and outdoor/industrial environments
- Must be capable of safely operating around moving equipment and machinery

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
