Viking Tool & Gage, Inc. is one of the largest metal fabricators in Western PA and we are hiring entry level (training provided) and experienced CNC Machine Operators for ALL SHIFTS!
Summary of Position:
The Machine Operator performs a variety of tasks involved in the production of the company’s products, including the operation of a CNC Machine. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Essential Job Functions:
- Reads routing paperwork and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
- Performs all assigned production department operations.
- Regularly performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sanding, and polishing tasks
- Completes and maintains paperwork for parts.
- Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results.
- Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
- Perform daily machine preventive maintenance as required.
- Understand and support the implementation of the IATF 16949 Standard.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Shift Differential:
2nd Shift – $1.50
3rd shift – $1.50
Pay rate is negotiable!
New Hire Bonus – $250 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year.
Benefits start the 1st of the month after 60-day probation period.
