SPIROL Industries Ltd. is seeking individuals with mechanical aptitude to work in our fast paced Production facility.
SPIROL Industries is a global company that has been located in Windsor for over 50 years. We are manufacturers of engineered fasteners; shims, spacers, spring pins, solid pins, alignment dowels, compression limiters, washers, disc springs, inserts for plastic and installation equipment.
Starting Wage: $19 (more depending on experience)
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Operator is to take care of all operational aspects as assigned, preparing machine for set-up, in-process and last piece inspections, SPC data entry and performing minor resets. Opportunity for growth to Set-up Operator/Mechanic.
Job requirements:
Grade 12 Education or equivalent (students need not apply)
Able to lift 50 lbs
Must be available for day/afternoon rotation (7.5% shift premium applies to afternoon shift) or steady midnight shift (15% shift premium – training on alternate shifts will be required) FLEXIBLE START DATES AVAILABLE
Safety Shoes
Willingness to learn
Ability to work overtime as required
Experience in the following areas would be an asset:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Use of inspection gauges and measurement tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical specifications
SPC Data Collection
