The Role
Juniper Group is hiring an experienced Financial Due Diligence practitioner to join our Toronto M&A team for the long term. You will work closely with the Vice President of M&A, managing commercial and financial diligence workstreams both independently and with a team.
You will execute end-to-end acquisition workstreams, including:
- Partner with the Origination team in the qualitative and quantitative assessment of acquisition opportunities.
- Manage and coordinate commercial and financial due diligence, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Build investment materials for the Investment Committee, including the financial model, due diligence findings report, and investment memorandum.
- Draft key transaction documents (NBIOs, LOIs, and SPA commercial terms).
- Support deal negotiation and execution, taking the lead when requested by senior executives.
- Translate due diligence insights into pragmatic integration priorities and a top-down value creation plan.
- Prepare executive-ready analyses and reporting for senior leadership, as required.
You will work closely with portfolio company leadership, Group Finance, and other stakeholders to continuously improve our acquisition practices.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CFA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence at a Big 4 (or equivalent) firm, with both buy-side and sell-side exposure.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Proven people leadership – comfortable managing, coaching, and collaborating across teams.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
- Solid accounting, financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience building investment cases and communicating insights clearly.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
- International work experience and a second language are a plus.
